Description:
We are seeking a Safety Trainer with a solid foundation in teaching. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive safety training to employees, with a focus on creating a safe and secure work environment. Able to communicate with large groups.
Requirements:
- Base knowledge of teaching methods
- Potential language teaching skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft 360
- Willingness to enroll in additional training courses as needed
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety training and onboarding in the Portland Metro area
- Track employees on the KPA system
- Carry out any additional assignments deemed appropriate by Health & Safety Manager
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong computer knowledge and skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivated
- Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Background in Safety but not necessarily required.

Salary: Negotiable – 32 to 40 hours (about 4 or 5 days) a week.
