The project manager will be responsible for overseeing and planning all aspects of mechanical construction and fabrication projects, including but not limited to:
- Track and forecast project-level financials and report out to executives at regular intervals
- Responsible for all phases of project delivery including cost, schedule, and client relationships
- Coordinate with Project Director, Field Supervisors and Foremen, Fabrication Shop Foremen, Project Engineers and Project Accountants
- Produce and manage project schedules
- Change management: assemble estimates, budgets and proposals
- Manage subcontractors and vendors
- Negotiate contracts
- Direct and attend project meetings
- Mentor subordinates
- Manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction and prospects of future opportunities
- Accept turnover of projects from Senior Project Manager/Account Executive and manage with minimal oversight
- Assist Business Development team in bidding large projects
- Take lead on bidding small and medium size projects

Education and Experience
- Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in supporting federal projects, Hanford or other DOE sites preferred
- Have current PMP or ability to pass Project Management Professional Certification within one year preferred.
- Estimating experience preferred
