Fire Sprinkler Sales and Estimator

Responsibilities:

• Estimate and negotiate new contracts.
• Work with design and field teams to execute projects.
• Review contract documents and drawings.
• Communicate project changes and progress.
• Determine customer needs by conducting site surveys and reviewing your findings with the appropriate customer personnel.
• Prepare and present effective proposals that offer solutions to customers.
• Submit bids and budgets before deadlines or otherwise in a timely manner.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site tours, and post-bid interviews as required.

Qualifications:

• Must have experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and logistics plans in the context of estimating fire sprinkler system installation or a very closely related mechanical discipline.
• Must have a basic understanding of fire sprinkler design and layout.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work both independently as well as in a team environment.
• Works well in group problem-solving situations.
• Contributes to a positive team environment and puts success of the team above own interests.
• Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
• Accepts responsibility for own actions.
