The Estimator will be responsible for supporting the estimating leads in preparing labor and material estimates based on plumbing, sheet metal and mechanical drawings, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, completing scope reviews, drafting, and submitting bid documents, developing relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients, and assisting in pre-construction efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing detailed estimates based on conceptual documents as well as schematic, design development, and construction documents. They must interface with other estimating disciplines as well as the other members of the project team. The individual will be responsible for all take-offs, pricing, and producing the final estimate to be incorporated into the final product.
- Perform detailed project takeoffs using industry standard estimating software and prepare estimates for management review within time deadlines.
- Work closely as a team with Project Managers and estimating team to identify cost-saving options.
- Support the estimating leads in preparing labor and material estimates based on plumbing and mechanical drawings, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, completing scope reviews, drafting, and submitting bid documents, developing and relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and clients, assisting in pre-construction efforts.
- Review fabrication spool prints, ordering materials-supplies, coordinating deliveries, and tracking productivity.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, engineering or related field. Will accept equivalent level work experience.
