Field Safety Representative

Description

• Annual salary 70-90K (Night Shift)
• Assist in the safety planning of the work activities.
• Participate in field safety walk downs.
• Provide safety leadership of the contractor’s craft, subcontractors, and in the evaluation of occurrences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Sciences in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent, 5-8 years in construction safety.
• Previous work at the Y-12 Complex is preferred but not expected.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proficient computer knowledge and skills, including but not limited to graph presentations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to write reports and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of loss control fundamentals.
• Minimum CHST certification preferred.
• Strong leadership skills
• Team player

Experience

• Shall be familiar with and demonstrate experience with construction safety and Industrial Hygiene
• Shall be familiar with near-miss and accident investigations to identify root causes, corrective actions, and draft incident reports.
